Our Team
Jody Orme, President
Jody Orme has spent the last 26 years in the metals and mining industry, with a specific focus on steel, vanadium, and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals, serving in managerial and executive roles.
Jody is the founder and president of Strategic Alloys LLC.
Jody is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants UK and holds bachelors’ degrees in Information Technology and Accounting Science from the University of South Africa, as well as a master’s degree in Finance.
Randy Doyle, Sales Director
Randy has over 40 years of experience in the Steel and Mining industries, with 30 years spent in sales management, logistics, and global supply chain economics and 10 years specifically in vanadium and mining. He has an extensive background in working with metallurgists, producers, and purchasing managers on a technical basis, which showcases his strong understanding and depth of chemistry, micro-alloy additions, and the steel-making process. He has a strong grasp of international steel, mining, and vanadium markets and a long history of decision-making as it relates to choosing the right ferroalloy for the desired outcome.
